So, I've recently gone through all the old adventurin' photos that I can get my hands on, and I've come up with a short list for picture-that-will-be-nicely-printed-and-hung-in-my-apartment-darnit. The full (aka severely chopped down) list of ~50 pictures is on picasa

Also, for anybody keeping track, I finished 36k of the 54k Classic Birkie up in Hayward, WI last weekend. The scenery was stunning snow-covered birch forests with rolling hills, lovely ski tracks, and some light snow in the afternoon. We skied from 9am until about 2pm, where we got off the trail at an aid station due to the low temperatures (and maybe there was something to do with that whole 36k thing too). While the highs for the day had been predicted (at their lowest) for about 15, it never made it past 8 degrees. For that matter, most of the morning was spent below 0F. Brr. The race was wonderful, regardless. Hopefully, I'll go back in the years to come.
